SILVER
Industrial and Decorative Silver Plating in Ontario
At Precision Plating, we offer rack, barrel and wired silver plating on steel, brass, copper and Inconel®. We also do decorative silver plating in our London, Ontario facility.
Silver is mainly used for electrical contacts but is also used for anti-galling purposes on static seals and bushings. Silver ranges in appearance from white matte to very bright. It has excellent solderability and the highest electrical conductivity of all metals. It also has the highest thermal conductivity among metals. We do silver plating to QQ-S-365 or equivalent. Thickness ranges from 0.0001"- 0.0010". Please let us know if you require a Certificate of Compliance.
